The story

From industrial sensors to animal hearts.

For more than a decade, founders Razali Mohamad, Alan Chang and Luke Bollam have built artificial-intelligence solutions for complex real-world problems. Drawing on backgrounds in engineering, software development, robotics and automation, they spent years teaching technology to make sense of sensor data — from industrial equipment and mining to human healthcare.

Founded in 2014, the broader Alerte Group was built on a simple idea: collect high-quality data, train AI alongside domain experts, and turn complex information into actionable insight. As their ambition to widen access to specialist care grew, that work led them to veterinary medicine.

Recognising the need for accessible specialist cardiac care for animals, they adapted their proven AI platform to create Alerte Digital Vet — combining wearable ECG monitoring, cloud analytics, specialist reporting and streamlined clinical workflows. More than 12 years of AI development now stands behind a company growing across Australia and international markets.

Clinical oversight

Every report carries a specialist's signature.

Specialist veterinary oversight sits behind the platform — reviewing the cardiac findings that make a PetPulse report something a clinic can trust.

Specialist in the loop

AI accelerates the analysis; expert cardiology and internal-medicine review stands behind the report. Technology assists the clinician — it doesn't replace them.

Care across species

Our AI is trained on dogs, cats and horses — and with a specialist reviewing every recording, we can support cardiac care beyond them, wherever the patient is.
