Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

This policy explains how Alerte Digital Health Pte Ltd (trading as Alerte Digital Vet) collects, uses and protects personal information across our website, web application and devices.

This page is a plain-language summary provided for convenience. The definitive version of this policy governs and is available on request from info@alertedv.com.

Scope

This policy covers the Alerte Digital Vet website (alertedigitalvet.com), the web application (app.alertedigitalvet.com), and related hardware devices including the Atrio PetPulse.

Compliance

We handle personal information in accordance with Australia's Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We also comply with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 for customers in New Zealand.

What we collect

We collect names, contact details and clinic information, along with account and platform usage data (such as login activity and device data). We also collect physiological, diagnostic and clinical data about animals (“Operational Data”) — this does not include personal information about you or your clinic. Payments are processed through Stripe.

How we share it

We share information only with service providers, veterinary specialists (when you request it), and partners necessary to operate our services. We do not sell or rent personal information to any third party.

How long we keep it

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as needed for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

International transfers

Our servers are primarily located in Australia. Some service providers operate internationally, including in Singapore, whose privacy law is broadly consistent with Australia's. When we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

AI usage

We use AI to analyse Operational Data — physiological, diagnostic and clinical data about animals recorded via the Atrio PetPulse and Atrio Vet platform — to support diagnostics, train our AI models, and improve our services. Operational Data relates to animals, not people, and is not personal information under Australian or New Zealand privacy law.

Your rights

If you are in Australia or New Zealand you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may lodge a complaint with the relevant privacy commissioner.
